Mini Forbidden City in Shenyang

Spent the afternoon in Shenyang, strolling around the Imperial Palace, which is based on Beijing's Forbidden city.

Most of the pics are from the Imperial Palace. We also visited General Zhang's residence, but I didn't take too many pictures there.

These middle school kids were practicing their dance moves on the thoroughfare outside the Imperial Palace entrance. When we finished our walking tour of the Palace grounds, these kids had changed into period costumes and were ready to do their performance. Sadly, we didn't have time to watch them. I have some video of them practising their moves which I will upload later.
